Brooklyn Blooms is looking for a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team! We’re a High-end boutique flower shop with two locations in Brooklyn, known for our bold, funky, and artistic floral designs. We create arrangements for everyday occasions, events, and corporate clients, and we’re looking for someone who can bring their unique style and expertise to our team.
Responsibilities:
Design and create floral arrangements for daily orders, events, and corporate accounts
Process, prep, and maintain fresh flowers to ensure top quality
Work with clients to bring their floral visions to life
Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and keeping the shop organized
Support the team with general shop duties (cleaning, restocking, customer service)
Occasionally assist with flower deliveries or event setup
Requirements:
- Must have weekend availability
At least 2 years of floral design experience (shop or event-based)
Strong knowledge of flowers, seasonality, and floral care
A keen eye for design, color, and composition
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Comfortable lifting buckets, moving floral inventory, and being on your feet
Friendly, team-oriented attitude with great customer service skills
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Bonus Points:
Experience with corporate or large-scale floral installations
Familiarity with sustainable floristry practices
