Manley's Wine & Spirits, an historic West Village wine store, is seeking a responsible, committed individual to join our small team 30-35 hours per week.
The ideal candidate would be customer-service driven, demonstrate acute attention to detail, and possess a strong sense of teamwork. We value honesty, enthusiasm, and an eagerness to learn.
Employees work behind the sales counter, in our temperature-controlled cellar, and take local deliveries on foot. Communication skills are critical as we primarily assist customers in-person and over the phone. This is an active position: you must be able to lift 40-pound cases of wine and are expected to help maintain the cleanliness and organization of both the store and cellar.
Prior wine experience is a plus, but not necessary. You must be available for late-afternoon/evening shifts, including weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and the winter holidays.
