Low voltage technician needed
Responsibilities:
Installation and programming of intercom systems
Installation and programming of access control system
Installation and programming of CCTV
Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructure.
Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work.
Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations.
Installing cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and inner ducts.
Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational.
Troubleshoot issues with the cable network.
Data Cable Technician with CAT6, fiber optic
Industry-specific certifications are a huge plus.
OSHA certificate is a must
Able to speak and write in English.
The Russian language is a plus.
Flexible and willing to work on-call, early morning, day, night, and weekend shifts, depending on the requirements of the job.
Duration and schedule of hours will vary daily. Example: Some days will be 4-hour shifts, while other days shifts could be 10-14 hours. Shifts can occur in early mornings, nights, and weekends depending on the customer’s requirements and scope of work.
