On-site IT Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support and ensure smooth IT experience for all employees. You will be the primary point of contact for technical issues, endpoint support, onboarding new hires, and maintaining IT systems in a cloud-first organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage onboarding and offboarding processes within Microsoft 365, including user lifecycle management, licensing, device readiness, and access verification.

Provide first-line technical support for Windows PCs and Macs, printers, mobile devices, business applications, and conference room systems.

Assist with IT asset preparation, deployment, and tracking, including laptops, monitors, and mobile devices.

Support network and Wi-Fi deployments, including access points, switches, and routers.

Perform basic cabling and equipment setup, including patching, labeling, cable management, and RJ45 termination when required.

Assist with installation and troubleshooting of IP camera systems and electronic door access controls.

Perform additional duties and IT-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

0–2 years of experience in IT support or a technical field, including internships, academic labs, or personal projects.

Working familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration tools, with a foundational understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and Intune, including their core purposes and basic navigation.

Experience providing support for Windows operating systems; experience with macOS is preferred.

Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts, including IP configuration, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and VPN basics.

Ability and willingness to perform hands-on technical tasks, such as equipment mounting, cable installation, and on-site technical work.

Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to execute tasks reliably in on-site environments.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with UniFi / UISP or Cisco networking environments, including switches, access points, and gateways

Exposure to IP-based video surveillance and/or electronic door access systems, including installation and basic troubleshooting
