Looking for something new and fun to do with your preschool-aged kids?
We are recruiting for our newest study on preschool-aged children’s memory for forensically-relevant information. The study will take place at John Jay College of Criminal Justice CUNY (BMW building 57th st & 11th ave). During the study, you will answer demographic information about your child while your child will participate in a staged lab event with one of our trained research assistants, take a series of cognitive measures, and complete a post-event interview.
You will be PAID $50 in cash for your child's participation in this 90min or less study. Your child can also select a small prize or toy for participating. You will receive payment upon your completion of the study.
You and your child are eligible to participate if you meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The child is between the ages of three and six years old
- The child speaks English
- The child does not have any diagnosed developmental delays
- The adult accompanying the child to the study will be their parent or legal guardian
- The parent or legal guardian agrees to the child being video-recorded for research purposes while in the laboratory
