Interacting with management, contractors & sub-contractors, coordinating site meetings, developing scopes of work, and implementing project schedules, as assigned. Performing routine site inspections, collecting bulk samples, and creating reports according to applicable State and Federal protocols. Identifying any potential biological hazards on the job site before construction work can take place. Co-ordinate the careful extermination of any biological hazards that may exist on the jobsite.
Use sampling methods to identify any air contaminants using various methods. Investigating indoor air quality and maintenance of indoor air quality. Conducting job site health & safety inspections. Performing air monitoring for asbestos abatement, lead and mold remediation activities.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field plus 1 year progressive postgraduate experience. Range $75K - $80K per year. Munster Drywall and Carpentry Inc., Mount Vernon, NY. Resume to Breda@munsterdc.us
