An investigative firm is seeking a freelance Insurance Investigator based in the New York City/five Boroughs area. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with experience investigating construction-related claims and fluency in Spanish. Assignments are on a per-case basis and may include early morning, weekend, or short-notice work.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Conduct field investigations related to construction accident claims
Focus on claims involving workplace injuries and activity checks at construction sites
Obtain written or recorded statements from claimants and witnesses
Document activity through clear and concise reports, photographs, and video footage
Communicate findings to our internal team in a timely manner
Insurance investigation experience and experience with construction-related claims is helpful
Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written)
Strong observational and documentation skills
Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and flexible availability
Ability to work independently with professionalism and discretion
