We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Night Security Officer with a valid FDNY FLSD (Fire Life Safety Director) license to join our team at a residential apartment building located in New York City.
Location: Manhattan, NYC
Schedule: Fridays & Saturdays, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (8-hour night shifts, 2 days/week)
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor building entrance and common areas
Ensure safety and security of residents and premises
Respond promptly to emergencies and fire alarm situations in accordance with FLSD duties
Maintain detailed shift reports and incident logs
Assist with tenant inquiries and enforce building rules when necessary
Requirements:
Valid FDNY FLSD license (required)
Prior experience in residential or commercial security preferred
Strong communication and observation skills
Professional demeanor and ability to work independently
Must be punctual and dependable
