Job Posting: Event Security Guards Needed
Position: Security Guards (NYS Licensed)
Duration: 4-day event this month (10/15/2024 - 10/20/2024), with potential for more events throughout the year
Requirements:
- Must be licensed as a security guard in New York State
- Must possess a valid NYS Guard Card
- Holding a FDNY Fireguard F03/F04 certification will result in additional compensation
- Day and overnight shifts available
Responsibilities:
- Enforce security measures to protect property and individuals at event
- Dress in all black clothing, no ripped jeans, no crocs, no sweatpants.
- Remain on post without walking off and prevent unauthorized entry
- Stay off Cell Phone
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand post orders in English
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
Location: New York City
