RISE is seeking a Energy Efficiency Representative to be responsible to enthusiastically explain and install no-cost energy efficiency measures in Small Businesses to support utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs in Staten Island, NY.
The position is based out of the Staten Island, NY territory. Hours are M-F, 8:00am- 5:00pm.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Generate domestic-hot-water installation opportunities by following up on commercial leads in the field
Clearly explain energy-efficiency program objectives to prospective customers
Install low flow, pre-rinse spray valves and other energy efficiency measures
Record data and complete installation paperwork
Travel throughout the service territory on a daily basis
Complete tasks within set timelines and adapt quickly to change
Adhere to the company’s safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of experience in construction or facility maintenance
Strong verbal, writing and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Access to electronic mail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A commitment to and enthusiasm for energy efficiency
A reliable automobile, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and clean driving record
