Marketing & Sales FT or PT - Event Center

Do you love selling ideas and putting them into action? Can you close deals and write a killer proposal? We’re looking for a Sales & Proposal writer who thrives on outreach, understands how to configure technical tools, and wants to grow something big with us.

Our event center, located midway between Madison and Milwaukee is a blank canvas for corporate events, retreats, weddings, expos, and creative productions. We’re growing fast—and we need someone who can help us build a strong, diverse book of business across industries.

What You’ll Do:

Find and close deals: Proactively identify and pursue leads across corporate, nonprofit, educational, and creative sectors.

Reach out to Academic Institutions, Associations and Churches that will help us funnel business to us, : Draft compelling proposals tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and budget.

Understand the market: Research trends, pricing, and competitors. Spot and seize opportunities.

Leverage technology: Use CRM tools, proposal software, and AI writing tools to stay fast and efficient.

Handle objections like a pro: Help clients see why this is the right space and the right time.

Stay on top of communication: Be highly responsive and follow through—no leads left hanging.

What You Bring:

Strong writing skills—able to tell a story and sell a vision

Sales or business development experience (event space, real estate marketing, hospitality, or B2B ideal)

Ability to configure technical tools (CRM, AI, proposal platforms, analytics, etc.)

Entrepreneurial mindset—you're a self-starter who sees and seizes opportunity

Excellent communication and follow-up skills

Ability to work independently and juggle multiple leads

Position Details:

Flexible hours – but this is an on site position in the Upper West Side, Base hourly rate or monthly stipend + commission

Part-time or Full time for the right person
