We believe it would be best (but not essential) to have some demonstrable knowledge of high end Audio/Visual components or sales experience with the field.
Be proactive in your approach to your work; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Strong ability to gather and analyze information (including Internet research).

Job Description:
Sell a large amount of high-end audio audio/visual equipment already cataloged and photo’d. Subsequently an amount of Antiques & Household furnishings (yet to be cataloged) shall also be offered.
Online Sales (eBay, Facebook Messenger, Audiogon and similar platforms).
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Work in conjunction with the owner to establish the value of each item to ensure optimum pricing for sales. (Commissions to be at hiring can ask your silly question is there some reason you cook pasta with and he
List all items for sale on eBay, Facebook Market Place, and similar platforms plus high end audio/visual sites (Audiogon, etc.)

Monitor online sales listings and communications.
Respond to all sales inquiries, meet with prospective buyers (if local), and conduct the sale of all items.
Pay all listing fees from and Deposit all sale proceeds into an existing bank account used solely for this purpose.
Pack, ship and track any items not sold locally. All shipping and handling costs and or upcharges shall be retained be commissioner in addition to agreed commission.
Maintain Excel spread sheet of all inventory sales and monies.
All on-line sales work may be performed offsite through an email account maintained and monitored by the owner.
The owner shall retain all right title and interest to all items being sold until such time as the sale is complete and payment in full received and cleared.
The Salesperson shall not enter into any sale without the express written permission of the owner and/or for any amounts not approved by the owner in advance.
The Salesperson shall not release any items until 2 business days after payment is received in full and cleared the owner’s bank. All items not picked up in person shall be insured for 150% of their sale value.
The items offered for sale are and have been the owner’s personal possessions are not new and are being sold at a loss. It is understood, therefore, there will be no Federal or New York Sales Tax due. The owner is not withholding any monies from commissions those proceeds will be the sole tax liability of the Salesperson
