Swobbee is building a network of battery charging and swapping stations across New York City, giving e-bike riders a fast, convenient, and safe way to swap their batteries on the go. Founded in Berlin, Germany, we are now expanding to the U.S. and are looking for motivated students to support our sales team in NYC.
As a Sales Support Associate, you’ll be on the front lines—meeting customers face-to-face, introducing them to Swobbee, and helping them experience the benefits of battery swapping. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a growing startup while playing a key role in shaping sustainable mobility in the U.S.
Compensation: $20/hour + commission on every successful referral
Location: On-site in New York City
Hours: 10–20 hours per week, flexible scheduling
What You’ll Do
Proactively engage with prospects and promote Swobbee’s services
Assist customers with app sign-up and account setup
Follow up with leads and manage a simple sales pipeline
Support ad-hoc projects in our fast-paced startup environment
About You
Organized, detail-oriented, and structured in your work
A proactive self-starter who enjoys working independently
Motivated to make an impact in a growing startup
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Interested in sustainable mobility, technology, or startups
Able to start as soon as possible and commit 10–20 hours/week in NYC
Bonus Points
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or outreach
Multilingual skills (French, Spanish, or Chinese are especially valuable)
