The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with new and existing customers in the lighting industry. This position involves prospecting, presenting, and selling a portfolio of lighting products and solutions to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify, contact, and qualify new prospective customers within the assigned territory
Schedule and conduct in-person sales meetings, product demonstrations, and site visits with customers
Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at target accounts
Understand customer needs and pain points, and provide tailored lighting solutions to address them
Prepare and present professional sales proposals and quotes
Collaborate with the inside sales team, product specialists, and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and goals
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new product launches, and competitor activities
Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting and activity reporting
