Since 1987 we have been serving our city's finest restaurants, hotels, caterers, special venues and more. We are seeking the right person to join our team. This position is an entry level outside sales position with some food/bakery experience preferred.
Tom Cat Bakery is seeking a sales representative (Outside Sales) to cover Manhattan
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prospecting & Cold Calling – Actively generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach.
Account Management – 25 established client visits and check-ins on a weekly basis
Client Engagement – Serve and support existing accounts within the Manhattan territory, ensuring strong client relationships.
CRM Utilization – Accurately document all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
Sales Team Collaboration – Participate in weekly sales meetings to review performance, share insights, and align on strategy.
COMPETENCIES:
Self-motivated and sales driven.
Ability to think quickly and problem-solve.
Skilled in delivering outstanding customer experiences through effective communication.
Bilingual - Spanish helpful- not required.
EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES:
1+ years’ of sales experience. Food, beverage or hospitality background preferred, but not required.
General knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Ability to conduct in person client visits on a daily basis.
Demonstrated understanding of sales fundamentals and the ability to identify and respond to customer needs.
COMPENSATION DETAILS:
Base Salary = $60,000
5% commission - new business
