Tabulae Eyewear is a growing independent eyewear brand in the East Village, specializing in high-quality frames, custom-cut lenses, and personalized service. We are seeking a part-time optician or apprentice optician to join our team.
Pay
$25–$30/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities
Assist customers with frame and lens selection
Take accurate measurements (PD, OC height, etc.)
Assemble, adjust, and troubleshoot eyeglasses
Explain lens options clearly and confidently
Maintain a clean, organized, high-standard store
Deliver excellent customer service
Requirements
Licensed Optician or Apprentice Optician (NY preferred, not required for apprentice)
Optical or retail experience strongly preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, reliable, and professional
Comfortable working independently in a boutique setting
