Job Summary:
The CPG Account Executive is responsible for driving sales growth and managing relationships with key accounts in the consumer packaged goods industry. This position involves prospecting new clients, developing relationships with key retailers, and providing excellent customer service to existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and acquiring new CPG clients through outreach, networking, and lead generation
Executing sales plans to meet revenue targets for assigned accounts
Maintaining and strengthening relationships with current clients through regular communication, identifying new opportunities, and delivering excellent service
Negotiating pricing, and promotional strategies with clients
Coordinating with internal teams (marketing, operations, logistics) to ensure successful program implementation
Collaborating cross-functionally with the broader sales, marketing, and account management teams
Qualifications:
3-5 years of proven experience in CPG sales, account management, or business development
Strong knowledge of the CPG industry, including key players, channels, and trends
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to think strategically and provide data-driven insights
Strong organizational and time management skills
Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
