Job Description:
As a 1099 Sales Representative for Metro Cheese, you will play a critical role in driving sales and establishing strong relationships with retail partners in your territory. This role offers the flexibility to manage your own schedule while making significant contributions to the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Scarsdale, New Rochelle, and Long Island territories.
Identify and connect with potential clients in the wholesale and retail sectors within your designated areas.
Present, promote, and sell our diverse range of dairy products to prospective and existing customers.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or issues promptly.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
Submit regular sales reports and updates on your progress.
Requirements:
Proven track record as a sales representative, ideally in the dairy or food industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Familiarity with the Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Scarsdale, New Rochelle, and Long Island markets.
Willingness to travel within the designated areas.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
