Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Job Developer to connect re-entry job seekers with employment opportunities. The ideal candidate should have experience in job placement, strong networking skills, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals reintegrating into society, or the ability and desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop relationships with local employers to identify job openings suitable for re-entry job seekers.
Create and maintain a database of job opportunities.
Provide guidance to job seekers on resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
Monitor and report on job placement outcomes and overall program effectiveness.
Qualifications:
A "positive", "go-getter" attitude.
Proven experience in job development, placement, or workforce development is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of the barriers faced by re-entry job seekers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with employers and community partners.
Ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite and job placement databases.
