Principal Consultant (PA Consulting Group, Inc. – New York, NY); Multiple positions available. Offering a salary $160,000 to $170,000 per year. Work with clients to optimize their company’s performance, through implementation or optimization of Agile practices, methodologies, mindsets and cultures. Identify Agile consulting leads and create relationships with decision makers in the market. Synthesize leads into sales opportunities, detailing scope of work, outcomes and commercial details. Work with client representatives to plan, deliver and monitor assignment work progression, in lock-step with existing client plans and initiatives. Coach and mentor consulting staff in all matters Agile, to improve and expand commercial reach and improve consultancy delivery capability.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field and 2 years of experience working within an Agile team. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in any field with an additional 2 years of experience working within an Agile team. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Coaching teams to adopt Agile ways of working; Kanban including WIP limits, policies and flow; Utilizing Agile backlog tools such as Azure, DevOps, Jira or similar; Developing Definition of Ready (DoRs), Definition of Done (DoDs) and writing and quality assuring Acceptance Criteria; Using risk, issue and dependency management practices such as ROAM or similar; Scaling frameworks including SAFe, LeSS and Srum@Sale; and Utilizing cloud technology such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure. Experience may be gained concurrently.
