DVx Atomic Co. d/b/a Atomic seeks multiple Senior System Architects in New York, New York.
Responsibilities: The Senior System Architect at Atomic is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud-based supply chain planning Software as a Service (“SaaS”) platform. Duties include: designing and implementing scalable backend services and APIs; developing frontend components for a seamless user experience; maintaining and optimizing database structures and integrations; architecting and managing cloud-based infrastructure with an emphasis on scalability, security, and reliability; implementing security best practices, including identity management, data protection, and compliance measures; managing CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure as code; monitoring and optimizing system performance and reliability; overseeing disaster recovery and business continuity planning; leading and mentoring a small team of engineers, providing technical direction and best practices; collaborating with product and engineering leadership to align technical decisions with business objectives; and conducting code reviews and ensure high standards for software quality. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to Atomic headquarters in New York, New York. Salary range: $190,000 - $220,000.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 5 years of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 5 years of experience developing and maintaining SaaS cloud infrastructure; 5 years of experience leading end-to-end development of software and web applications; 5 years of experience with relevant programming tools and languages, such as Python, HTML, or CSS; and 5 years of experience managing security compliance for cloud-based product development.
