TrialSpark, Inc. d/b/a Formation Bio seeks multiple Software Engineers II in New York, NY.
Responsibilities: Responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining various software applications geared towards optimizing Formation Bio’s drug development. Duties include: Closely collaborating with clinical data monitoring and management teams as a full-stack engineer; Developing features for internal issue detection and collaboration tool in Node.js and React; Leading the development of a clinical data check platform in multiple programming languages; Working with clinical data analysts to onboard existing data checks and scripts to the new platform; Collaborating with other engineers to define testing standards across teams and implement tools to better improve test coverage across all products; Collaborating with product managers, R&D team members, and other stakeholders to prototype, test, and deploy AI powered tools to better streamline sourcing, research, and other operations; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in New York City, New York. Salary range $153k - $200k.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience working with Java, Python, R, or similar programming languages; 2 years of experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or similar data management systems; 2 years of experience working with client/server architectures and application architectures; and 2 years of experience designing and implementing Application Programming Interface in Django, React, and other similar frameworks.
