Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced barber to join our team at Holy Ghost Barbershop. We are a small, barbershop in Manhattan's vibrant community in the heart of Hell's Kitchen. Our shop seeks to provide a low key, casual experience.
Applicant must be a responsible well rounded barber looking to pick up walk ins and build a clientel. Will consider a young graduate if it's the right fit. You must be open minded and willing to take all types of clients, including race, sexual orientation, and creed. Also, you must love the craft and excercice excellent customer service, a positive attitude , and always looking to continue to grow.
Duties & Skills:
- Perform hair cutting, styling, and grooming services for clients of all ages and hair types
- Experience with various clipper and scissor techniques, experience with fading - must be well rounded in all haircuts and styles
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, and tools.
-Applicants must have a strong work ethic, be respectful, flexible, and passionate about your craft
Compensation: 50% of services plus tip
Salary can be negotiable
