Aveda concept salon looking for Hair Stylists and Salon Assistants

ASSISTANT:
We are looking to hire a dedicated and motivated Hair Stylist Assistant that is passionate about the industry and would like to grow. If this sounds like you, We’re looking forward to meeting you.
2+ Years Experience is a MUST, although Training is provided.
The ideal candidate must:
-Speak fluent English
-Be Costumer service oriented.
-Have a friendly, upbeat and welcoming demeanor toward coworkers and guests.
-Have an outstanding work ethic.
-Take initiative to complete required tasks independently.
-Team oriented leadership
Duties (include, but are not limited to):
-Assisting hair stylists with colors and more
-Shampooing and preforming treatments to client hair
-Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the salon at all times
HAIR STYLIST:
Looking for a talented Hair Stylist with experience and positive attitude to join our salon team.
Applicant should be professional, responsible, team player and enjoy working in a goal-oriented, high volume environment.
The Qualifications:
Valid NY State Cosmetology License required
3-4 years of salon experience preferred
Exceptional client service skills
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Desire to work in a fast-paced salon environment within a growing company
Ability to work well with a diverse staff at all times
Fluent in English
Available to work on weekends
The Responsibilities:
Deliver efficient, consistent and stylish blowouts & salon services
Consult with each client based on the client journey and selected services
Build a client base through exceptional client service, attention and care within the salon
Provide and suggest the proper products and treatments for clients based on hair length, type and texture
