We’re looking for a passionate Certified Personal Trainer who is also a Running Coach to join our team. This role involves coaching private clients, leading group classes, and spearheading our Running Club starting March/April.
Responsibilities – Personal Training:
- Coach and motivate private clients and group classes
- Develop and implement personalized workout plans tailored to individual client goals
- Promote our fitness packages and plans
- Specialize in women’s strength training and provide educational support
- Conducting fitness assessments as part of the new member experience.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all clients
- Track client progress and adjust programs as needed
- Stay current with fitness trends and continue education in the field
Responsibilities – Running Coaching:
- Lead and manage DediKate’s Running Club starting in Spring 2025.
- Coach individuals and groups for race training, including 5Ks, half marathons, and marathons.
- Create running plans tailored to various skill levels and goals.
- Provide guidance on running techniques, pacing, and injury prevention.
Requirements & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- University degree in Exercise Science is a plus
- Current certification from NCSA, ACSM, NASM, AFFA, or ACE
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Personal Training Insurance
- Previous personal training experience required
- Proven experience in running coaching, including group leadership and race training.
- Strong knowledge of strength training techniques and best practices
- Ability to conduct both private and group training sessions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about fitness and helping women achieve their goals
