Well established organicnon toxic salon looking for well experienced nail technicians for immediate hire.
No dip power, hard gel or acrylic nail services are offered at our salon. We prioritize a safe and clean environment for our employees and clients. We do our best to avoid as many harmful chemicals as possible and use clean, highest of quality organic/non-toxic nail care/skincare products.
No Russian manicures or pedicures. We do not use electric nail files in our salon for cuticle detailing, shaping or gel removal.
Valid NYS Nail, Waxing, Esthetician and Cosmetology licenses accepted.
Sponsorship for NYS nail technician license for qualifying professionals.
Part Time or Full Time, 3-5 days. Must be able to work weekends - both Saturdays and Sundays. This is a long term position, not seasonal and very steady work. Must have professional work experience.
Job duties include:
-precise and detailed manual cuticle detailing skills (we DO NOT use e-files)
-strong nail shaping skills
-perfect polish application skills including regular polish and gel
-Simple nail art skills - French tips, half moons, hearts, lines, dots etc.
-Work fast and precisely
-Work in a clean and organized manner
-Maintain a clean, organized and positive work environment
-Must be professional, responsible, dependable and punctual - come to work as scheduled and on time
-Hard working, respectful and work well with others for a pleasant work environment
-Waxing/sugaring and skincare experience welcome
