We are a family-owned indie retailer looking to expand our beauty team! As a Cosmetics Sales Associate, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers and selling makeup, skincare, hair care, fragrance, home/lifestyle, and bath & body products. We are in a busy, trendy location, have a VIP clientele, and offer a generous employee discount.
Responsibilities:
Welcome customers and identify their needs
Skincare, makeup, hair, and fragrance consultations
Makeup Application
Recommend products and services to customers
Monitor inventory to ensure products are in stock
Process customer orders and gift wrap purchases
Clean & stock shelves
Assist with merchandising beauty products and accessories
Qualifications:
Previous experience in cosmetics/skincare customer service
Must be familiar with the C.O. Bigelow brand and history
Must be knowledgeable in skincare/cosmetics ingredients and current brands/trends
Positive, friendly attitude - need to be a team player and communicate well with co-workers
Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
Proven ability to build sales
Ability to build rapport with customers and co-workers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
OPEN AVAILABILITY - must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays. We are open 365 days a year - you must be willing to work two holidays per year.
