The Land of Barbers Hair salon is currently recruiting for a part-time Salon Coordinator/Receptionist to help run and coordinate day-to-day activities.
We are seeking a highly energetic, motivated, and committed individual to provide high-end customer service to our clients.
The position will be balanced between providing an excellent first and last impression in the salon and creating and maintaining client relationships online.
Job Type: Part time / full time 4/ 5 days
-Monday-Tuesday-Friday-Saturday-
but we will consider other days too.
Full job description
-Ensuring day-to-day salon operations run smoothly.
-Chatting with customers, learning their preferences, and building good relationships
-Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage shifts and appointments.
-Promoting the business on social media and updating customers with email to increase the clientele.
Responsibilities
-Greet clients as they enter the salon.
-Schedule appointments and manage the salon's calendar by using the software Vagaro.
-Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries.
-Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the salon.
-Assist stylists and other salon staff as needed.
-Process payments and manage the cash register.
-Gather photos from services taken in the salon.
-Publish and share content twice a week on google, yelp and social media platforms.
-Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social content by using the appropriate ash tags and metrics.
Requirements and skills
-English fluent talked and wrote
-Experience in customer service is a plus.
-Basic knowledge of Excel
-Familiarity with social media
Job Types: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: minimum 32 per week
Shift: 8 hour shift 9-6 or 10-7 or 11-8 with one hour break.
Weekly day range: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
