Mellow Bar is redefining nail care by blending beauty with wellness. Since opening in 2020, we’ve grown to two thriving locations in Manhattan and earned a loyal client base through our focus on natural nail health and premium Japanese gel services.
We’re currently looking for skilled, licensed nail technicians who are passionate about their craft and excited to grow with a team that values creativity, quality, and care.
Who We're Looking For
You’re a detail-oriented technician who loves providing beautiful, clean work and creating a calm, positive client experience. You’re also punctual, team-focused, and eager to keep learning.
Requirements
Valid NYS Nail Technician License
Minimum 2 years of nail care experience
Comfortable using an e-file for soak-off and cuticle work
Able to perform clean French, ombré, and minimalist nail art
Comfortable with pedicure services
Preferred but not required:
Experience with gel polish, Japanese gel, UV gel, design gel
Familiarity with Gel-X or soft gel extensions
Responsibilities
Greet clients warmly and provide a consistently high level of service
Perform manicures and pedicures with attention to health and hygiene
Recommend colors and designs using a basic understanding of color theory
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized station
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members
Upsell add-ons or retail products where appropriate
Stay up-to-date on trends and techniques to deliver high-quality results
