Ascend Spa is an award winning Health, Wellness, and Beauty Services Spa with a successful 21 year operating track record. We are located in the charming enclave of Kew Gardens, Queens just steps away from the Kew Gardens LIRR station. Our spa offers Massage Therapy, Esthetics, and Nails/Wax Services.
We are currently seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. Many of our therapists have been working with us continuously for several years. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a variety of massage techniques and possess a strong commitment to client care. We encourage each therapist to have their own style and it is expected that a successful therapist will develop a following very quickly over time. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment and grow your clientele in a workplace with a stellar following and reputation.
Responsibilities:
Perform massage therapy sessions tailored to each client's specific needs and preferences.
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend personalized treatments.
Collaborate with other team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
Assist team with laundry and other small tasks to maintain a cohesive work environment
Qualifications:
Licensed Massage Therapist in New York State
Proficiency in a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal massage, lymphatic drainage, etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain client confidentiality.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Pay is commission based. With our commission structure It is expected you will be compensated $45-65 per service (including tip) as the starting rate.
