We are looking for team members that share a common passion for people and proactive in growing their craft. This is a PASSION industry, we aim to help others look and feel better than we found them.
ASSISTANTS—must have some experience working in a salon doing shampoos, color rinses, some knowledge assisting w/ color services, must take initiative, time management, detail oriented, and eagerness to learn.
(Disclaimer: this is not a glamorous position, you will be cleaning, organizing, and most importantly—learning. But in the experience you gain as an assistant, you will be equipped to work among the best of the best in NYC’s hair industry.)
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM—open to all assistants to learn foundational skills in cutting and finishing the KINHOUSE way.
Our studio is also equipped with a photo studio—which team members are encouraged to use in collaboration with photographers and stylists for anything from editorials, commercial shoots, look-books, model test shots, hair stories, Hair competitions (NAHA, OneShot, BigShot), or even just Instagram posts and stories.
