Bed of Nails NYC is looking for a Part Time Salon Manager to join our team. Spanish Speakers Preferred
Schedule:Tuesday -Friday mostly morning shift and Saturday 9a-8:30p
We pride our businesses on an excellent level of customer service and are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, personable leader to join our team! We are located in Midtown Manhattan, accessible to all trains.
As the Salon Manager you will manage the appointments, directly work with out CEO to manage tasks and deliverables, greet clients, and correspond with technicians if any issues arise. Must be familiar with Instagram and Tik Tok.
You will also be key holder and responsible for opening or closing the salon depending on the shift.
We are looking for a collaborative, savvy administrative professional with a deep interest in the beauty industry and supporting a small business. You must be highly organized and a self starter.
Responsibilities:
Provide a friendly, clean and welcoming environment for clients
Assist clients with booking appointments, including rebooking and follow-up appointments
Manage online and in-person transactions
Maintain shop cleanliness
Restock retail displays and maintain display cleanliness
Assist in Managing daily salon tasks and projects
Assist with taking nail photos of clients nails for content.
Participate in on-site events
Qualifications:
-Must be available Saturday 9a-8:30p
-Strongly prefer 1 year of administrative experience
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
-Passionate and knowledgeable of salon products and services is preferred
-Knowledgeable and interest in social media, including Instagram and Tik Tok
-Strong understanding of retail operations, policies, and procedures
-Ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment
-Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
-Self Stater and Supportive
