Qualifications
Mechanically inclined with prior warehouse experience
Ability to follow specific instructions during the teaching phase.
Ability to work independently once taught the necessary skills
Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements.
Basic working knowledge of hose end threads, JIC, Metric, SAE, etc. is a plus.
Speak English, and other languages useful and helpful in communicating with customers
Responsibilities
Assemble hydraulic hose and hose ends following instructions
Use crimping, cutting tools, and measuring devices in accordance with specifications and requirements for each “Made to Order” hose assembly
A hose assembly is critical for our customers to control the flow and location of hydraulic oil being pumped under 3000-5000 psi pressure
Assemblers in the Hose Department perform repetitive operations including cutting and crimping of hose assemblies as specified in a job order
Qualifications
Past experience in auto parts (NAPA) stores making hose asemblies is a great launching point for this key role
This person needs to have a base of knowledge that can be grown through the training and direction that DB will provide.
Experience is helpful, we will train the right person
