The Candidate will be responsible for the preparation, deployment and support of Axon Body Worn Camera devices, requiring consistency, attention to detail, and strict adherence to a fast-paced delivery schedule. This position is customer facing and located within the client’s facilities. The Candidate will be expected to directly communicate with law enforcement end users to provide customer support, including training and troubleshooting.

Compensation
$70K starting ($35.00 hourly, 1099 to start)\
Opportunity for conversion to full-time employment within 3-12 months at Axon with salary increase + full benefits
Responsibilities
On-time arrival at primary and remote client facilities
Unpacking and cleanup of various equipment
Preparation, configuration and documentation of deployed Body Worn Camera devices
Directly interact with law enforcement end users to provide support and training
Travel to remote client locations to assist in hardware deployments and upgrades
Troubleshooting, review, and documentation of devices with reported issues
Support police department Helpdesk
Prerequisites
Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check
Ability to commute to lower Manhattan daily, Monday-Friday 8-6
Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40lbs throughout the shift
Required Skills
Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Strong competency with MS Excel
Knowledge of basic network architecture, devices and protocols
Ability to learn how to use new software and devices quickly
Ability to follow detailed procedures accurately and consistently
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Comfortable using hand tools
Preferred Skills
Advanced MS Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables, Macros, Data visualization)
Ability to operate hand trucks and/or pallet jacks
Required Experience
High School Diploma
No previous professional experience is required
Preferred Experience
Bachelor’s degree
Customer-facing work (tech support, retail, or sales)
Professional experience with troubleshooting technical issues
Experience installing or managing networked devices
Military or law enforcement
