We are looking for an experienced candidate to work at a bank in Manhattan. You must be fluent in Mandarin and English.
Hourly pay rate $48-$68
Start time: ASAP
Temporary hybrid schedule. Work onsite at least 3 days per week, or as arranged by Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in all network security solutions in accordance with industry best practices.
Administers with installing, configuring, patching and maintaining network-related infrastructure supporting BOCOM's HQ and branch data center.
Administers in troubleshooting and resolving for all faults in the network.
Racks, stacks, powers, and provides management connections for network-attached devices.
Monitors and optimizes network performance and respond to operation issues and incidents in a timely manner.
Creates and manages support tickets with 3rd party vendors in response to any type of network degradation or system issues.
Arranges scheduled network-related upgrades with BOCOM departments and 3rd parties.
Updates network and security equipment to the latest firmware releases.
Utilizes network management best practices and tools to investigate and resolve network-related performance issues.
Utilizes BOCOM's network monitoring tools to ensure all systems run optimally.
Assists with integrating technologies from outside vendors in various networking environments and optimize security.
Leads 3rd party network engineers on designing and maintaining network architecture.
Works with the ISO and RMD to manage vendors and hold them responsible to meet SLAs.
Assists in network-related disaster recovery efforts, testing, and documentation.
Administers VLAN, IP, DNS and Domains.
Develops documentation and user guides for network enhancements.
Remains current on network trends and developing technology.
Collaborates with other technical teams to optimize network-related infrastructure.
Provide support and guidance to Network Administrator, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Other related duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
College graduate with specialization in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE:
3 years of satisfactory, progressive experience in network administration in a business environment incorporating switch, router and firewall configuration, network monitoring, and experience utilizing network management tools to that are acceptable to the management of the Information technology Department. Knowledge of network topology, understanding of LANS, VPN, Wi-Fi, etc. is required.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Fluent in English and Chinese.
Strong knowledge in network administration, cyber security, IT operation, inventory and patch management, incident response, and etc.;
Must be able to prioritize work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Require participation in periodic network devices updates outside of normal business hours and respond to network-related operation issues and incidents in a timely manner.
Have strong written and oral communication skills in English and oral communication in Mandarin. Self-motivated and with strong responsibility.
Holding professional certifications of CCNA, CCNP or CISSP is a good plus.
