Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Support Engineer will provide technical guidance and support to our team both in-house and remotely. You'll be responsible for overseeing the installations and maintenance of internal equipment and technology. You'll collaborate with stakeholders both in-person and remotely, to solve complex challenges. You'll take a lead in supporting day-to-day operations, as well as providing technical suggestions to help create long-term solutions. Responsibilities
Configuring and troubleshooting staff computer equipment.
Responding to staff IT support requests in a timely manner.
Meeting with staff to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues.
Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
Repairing hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems.
Managing Help Desk ticket queue
Adhering to Help Desk SLA
Tracking and managing computer equipment requests
Qualifications
Working knowledge of the following
Okta
G Suite
Slack
Zoom
Jamf
MacOS (strong knowledge)
iOS
Android support
Windows OS
Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or similar (preferred)
Proven work experience as a technical support engineer.
Knowledge of IP-based protocols.
Terminal experience
Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems.
Good time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
