Technical Support Associate - Midtown (On-Premise)

Major Food Group is a leading hospitality company managing several renowned restaurants across New York City, Miami, Dallas, and Boston. We are looking for a dedicated Technology Support Associate to join our team, providing vital technical support to our restaurant locations, corporate offices, and remote employees.

The Technology Support Associate will be responsible for providing technical support to our corporate and restaurant teams. This role requires a strong understanding of desktop systems, software applications, and general IT troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a passion for technology, able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver expert technical support for corporate and restaurant IT systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across Mac OS, iOS, and Windows platforms, including software installation, updates, and regular maintenance.

Set up and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and various peripherals to ensure optimal performance.

Provide comprehensive support for software applications including Google Workspace, Office 365, Meraki System Manager, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Manage and perform basic administrative tasks for POS systems, including Toast and Micros.

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of surveillance, audio-visual, and telecommunication systems.

Work closely with the IT team to deploy and integrate new technologies that align with the business’s operational needs.

Accurately document and manage all support requests through the ticketing system, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Offer on-call support as necessary, including travel to remote locations for hands-on assistance.

Liaise with 3rd party vendors to coordinate service and support.

REQUIREMENTS:

Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience in remote and in-person technology & desktop support.

A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications.

Basic understanding of surveillance systems, audio-visual technology, and low voltage wiring.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with users at all levels.

Ability to travel to remote locations for onsite support

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

This position requires open availability

Compensation: $28- $32 per hour based on experience.
