Production Assistant for Furniture Company
Studio & Offsite Location Photography Team
(Homebase: Industry City, Sunset Park, NY)
We are seeking a Production Assistant to work with our production team on full time/casual
basis. This will include being scheduled for multiple 5-Day photoshoots in consecutive weeks.
We do ask you have M-F availability, with occasional weekend work open
///Roles and Responsibilities
-On-set support moving furniture and merchandise coordinating. Assisting the creative team with rotating rugs, installing wall shelves, hanging artwork and rigging lighting. Power tool knowledge is mandatory (drills, hand saws, razor blades, etc)
-Building furniture & breaking down furniture, wrapping and returning this to our product warehouse
-Carrying furniture such as large dressers, bookshelf's, sofas, etc
-Preparing product for upcoming shoots weeks, organizing 100's of samples and hunting down missing samples from other photo teams.
-Set cleanliness, cleaning up at end of day. coiling cables, organizing props,
-Ability to drive 16ft box trucks around NYC and out of state - Valid License Mandatory.
-Other important responsibilities include packing trucks, traveling to offsite jobs to lived in
homes and emptying them fully, wrapping furniture, liaison with our warehouse team, carrying 60lbs+
When scheduled, assignments are 5 days per week and may include up to 12-hour day, we ask for open availability.
///Who we are looking for?
o A candidate who is highly organized, adaptable and extremely detail oriented. Someone who is looking to grow with a company and root themselves somewhere to learn the brand.
o Ability to lift 60lbs+ as well as carry furniture(upstairs/downstairs, in tight corners and around pricy homes).
o The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and take control of given
problem. Helping lead other team members as you work together
o The readiness to switch tasks and learn new ones on the fly
o Someone who is solution oriented, process focused, a great communicator and a
creative problem solver. Someone who takes ownership in a project and will see it through.
o People who want to grow, learn, be part of team.
o A candidate who is punctual and never late to a job, our calltimes are normally 800-830AM
o Someone with at least 6 months on photoset experience with other brands. please include on resume.
o Someone who knows power tools
o Someone with a valid license

THIS IS AN HOURLY POSTION AT 24/HR + OVERTIME (after 8 hours daily, usually accrued on location photoshoots)
