Hi CL,
I’m the hiring manager for an NYC-based creative agency startup seeking a talented and creative Videographer/Editor to join our team. As a Videographer/Editor, you will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality footage for various projects such as branded-videos, documentaries and short films. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the creative director to develop video concepts, storyboards and pitch-decks
- Capture high-quality footage using DSLR and Digital Cinema Camera equipment
- Be familiar with operating camera stabilizers, gimbals with a basic knowledge of audio and lighting gear for interviews
- Have a strong and proven Editing workflow (importing and labeling footage, setup editing folder hierarchy)
- Create compelling and engaging videos for company’s social media, interact and respond to social media comments on various posts.
- Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and meet project objectives
- Create project timelines, shooting schedules, shot lists
- Organize, maintain and label film and video equipment inventory
EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a Videographer/Editor or similar role with a solid understanding of photography principles and composition
- Proficient in film/video production techniques and equipment operation
- Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Davinci, Pr Pro, Ae, Ai, etc.
- Ability to work independently, document daily work and conduct weekly presentation on status updates.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and time management abilities
