Cable Technician duties and responsibilities
Cable Technicians are responsible for installing and troubleshooting cable television, secuirty systems, and internet systems for businesses. While specific Cable Technician job duties can vary depending on the type of systems they work with (i.e., cable television, digital phone line, internet, fire alarm, etc.), general duties for Cable Technicians include:
Troubleshooting and repairing cable system infrastructure
Installing data and voice cables for commercial router systems
Installing cabled devices for commercial security systems
Upgrading existing cable for fire alarm , secuirty and internet systems
Performing cable system maintenance
