We are looking for a part-time woodworking shop employee with at least 2 years of experience working in a small woodworking shop producing high-end furniture or millwork projects.
To Qualify: You must have at least 2 years of experience safely operating all standard woodworking tools and machinery, and exposure to the realities of working in a shop.
This is not an apprenticeship position or for someone without relevant woodworking experience.
As a woodshop worker, you will closely work with the owner in all phases of our production process.
Our production process includes milling various door parts and components, cutting, mitering, gluing, clamping, sanding doors and door frames, scuffing, door hardware installation, preparing doors for delivery, loading doors into the truck, unloading doors on-site, and installation.
Other general woodshop tasks include receiving lumber deliveries, keeping supplies in order, monitoring inventory, shop maintenance, and organization.
To succeed in this role, you must be extremely proactive, observant, detail-oriented, and possess excellent proactive communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials (50 lbs +) once or twice a day.
-Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with the shop owner.
-Alert and observant
-Strong mechanical aptitude
-You must speak English well.
POSITION DETAILS
This is a part-time position with an opportunity to grow into a full time for a motivated and goal-oriented individual.
Work Hours are Monday-Thursday, 12pm - 6pm.
Pay rate: $22/hr - $25/hr depending on experience
