Electrical Foreman / Lead Electrician – NYC Projects
Job Summary:
Omta Tech, a reputable electrical contracting company based in New York City, is hiring an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead our field crews. We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on professional who can manage teams, coordinate site activities, and deliver high-quality electrical work across commercial and residential projects.
Responsibilities:
Supervise electricians and helpers on job sites
Coordinate daily tasks and ensure timely completion of work
Read and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications
Ensure compliance with NYC and NEC electrical codes
Communicate clearly with project managers and clients
Maintain safety protocols on site
Qualifications:
7 + years of experience in the electrical field
Previous experience as a foreman or team leader
Strong knowledge of local codes and installation practices
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Must have own tools and reliable transportation
Strong leadership and organizational skills
