We are a custom door fabrication and installation company seeking an experienced multi-skilled subcontractor to help us close out projects.
The ideal candidate will be adept at performing various tasks to ensure the final touches on our installations are of the highest quality.
Responsibilities include carefully installing stone thresholds underneath new doors to eliminate gaps and ensure the threshold touches the brush, installing weatherstripping, performing paint or stain touch-ups, installing door casings, and doing sheetrock work.
This is a great opportunity for an individual who works an early shift and is looking for extra work.
Requirements:
Proven experience in finish carpentry, stone threshold installation, and general carpentry tasks.
Experience in high-end residential and townhouse renovations in NYC.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Must be considerate of historical structures.
Possession of a full complement of tools, including specialty tools.
Reliable transportation.
Strong communication skills / ability to converse in English
