Looking to appoint ASAP and begin the training process. We would like to find someone with excellent hand skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to pick things up quickly.
Spinning experience is desirable but not essential, if you have good hand skills and a willingness to learn. Our yarn is spun on a Louet S-10 wheel, so familiarity with this model is preferable. It is a non electric wheel powered by a foot pedal. This is the is the perfect opportunity for a recent fashion/textile graduate or someone looking for a role in a small intimate company where they can make a lasting impact.
After training, the position will be part time/as needed for production with a flexible schedule we can work together to establish. You will be compensated per piece produced (per ball of yarn)
