QUALIFIED CARPENTER:
- with 10 years of experience. The position will entail working on commercial job sites to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products.
The ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of:
Metal Framing
Drywall
Acoustic Ceilings for commercial sites
Working while following all health and safety standards is essential.
Responsibilities
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
Cut, shape and smooth material according to measurements
Build window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
Lay out floorings, ceilings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible
Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance
Build scaffolding and other construction structures
Requirements 10 years proven experience as carpenter Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
Good knowledge of English
Good understanding of basic math
High school diploma

Must be a US Citizen with a valid drivers' license
You must have your own vehicle that you can drive to and from work
Must be willing and able to work nights and weekends.
Must be willing to travel to Long Island, the five boroughs and New Jersey daily?
EXPERIENCED PAINTER/DRYWALL SPACKLER and LABORER FOR GENERAL CONTRACTOR
Gregor Industries Inc. is searching for an experienced painter with a background in painting, and drywall spackling.
This position would include General Labor as well.
NYC/Long Island/NJ
Must meet the following requirements:
Must be a US citizen with a valid driver license
Must be willing and able to work nights and weekends.
Must be willing to travel to Long Island, the five boroughs and New Jersey daily?
MUST HAVE/OWN RELIABLE VEHICLE
Must provide own transportation and own tools
Proven experience as a painter/experienced in spackle and skim coat
Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques
Knowledge in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns, etc.)
Wage depending on experience and capabilities.
