Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and motivated handymen mechanic to assist with a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks. This is a part-time position that will lead into full time after training. Hand tools and own truck, preferred. Must be willing to travel to Long Island for training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance
- Troubleshoot issues and determine effective solutions across multiple trades
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all job sites
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, supervisors, and team members
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Accurately document completed work, materials used, and suggestions for future maintenance or repairs. Ability to utilize a call-in system for job site arrivals, departures and updates.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or in a related role preferred
- Broad understanding of building maintenance principles and flexibility to work within a couple of different trades
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
