New York Paint and Hardware/First Avenue Supply House is looking for an experienced handyman to join our family. Must be able to execute various jobs in our neighborhood as well as work in the store when there are no scheduled projects.
The candidates must be honest, clean cut, and personable and able to get along with coworkers and our clients.
Must have great attention to detail
Must be very punctual and be able to execute projects at a reasonable pace
Must be able to work 5 days a week 8am-4pm
The person we hire must possess the following skills:
Installing door locks
hanging doors
hanging tvs
instaling a/c
hanging window treatments
painting
plastering
tiling and grouting
light carpentry
minor plumbing (replacing waste pipes, replacing toilet parts)
minor electrical work (hanging fixtures, replacing switches/ dimmers, moving outlets)
All tools and materials will be provided.
