We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwork Shop Helper to join our team. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure and cut materials to ensure precise fitting and alignment.
Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, and sealing as needed.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training is a plus.
Proficiency with hand and power tools used in carpentry and woodworking.
Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and safety standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, etc.) for extended periods.
