We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our busy auto body shop. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent customer service and managing administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
Schedule appointments and manage the shop’s calendar.
Answer incoming calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries about services.
Assist customers with check-in and check-out processes.
Handle customer payments and provide invoices.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Update customer records and vehicle information throughout the repair process.
Coordinate with technicians and service staff regarding customer needs and repairs.
Order and manage office supplies, as needed.
Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be dependable
Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in an auto repair shop is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and multitask.
Proficiency with office management software (Microsoft Office, Emails, scheduling tools).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Bilingual individuals fluent English & Spanish is a plus
