Avalon Air is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to service and repair kitchen equipment in various NYC Schools. This is a unique opportunity to use your skills in a stable environment with competitive compensation based on your experience.
Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, service de and repairs on a variety of kitchen refrigeration equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with commercial refrigerators, freezer, walk in unit, salad bars, etc.
Work with brands including, Trauslen, Victory, Del-field, Penn, Beverage to name a few.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in refrigeration service and repairs.
Expertise in working on all types of walk in freezer and refrigerators.
Must Possess a Universal EPA Freon Certification.
Required Permits: Hot Permits, F60 and G60.
A minimum of 100 hours of OSHA Training.
A Clean Criminal Record is mandatory, and fingerprinting will be conducted before hiring.
